Virtual Callboard FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

In a theater, much information is disseminated through what is called the “Call Board”.  This is generally a bulletin board that is backstage where most everyone who enters the theater will see it.  Items usually seen on a callboard include class postings, crew calls, actor auditions and calls, work calls for “Encore Events” or just any other general information.  Here at Northwest, in addition to having a “regular” callboard backstage in the Performing Arts Center, we have a “virtual” callboard. IF YOU ARE ALREADY SUBSCRIBED TO THE V-CALLBOARD FROM PREVIOUS SEMESTERS, YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBSCRIBE AGAIN!!!

MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS SELECT THE “EMAIL” OPTION!!!

If you select any of the other options, you will not get vcallboard announcements in a timely fashion.

b. “What do you want to use as your Google Groups nickname?

USE YOUR REAL NAME AS YOUR NICKNAME!!!

DO NOT use something like “squiggly boy” or “tatoo_girl_03″. That is immature…you are not in High School anymore!

Also, if the list administrator cannot tell who the account belongs to, that person will be deleted.
